Zion National Park, Utah | Angel's Landing Engagement Session

Twin flames.

A girl from England, and a boy from Vegas- met in Nepal while volunteering. Hearing them talk about how they met and the way they felt about each other so quickly was beautiful to hear. After meeting, they spent years traveling the world by each other's side. Last week at their wedding, Drew's sweet mom described them as twin flames, and if I've ever believed in some kind of divine connection between people, it's between these two. Something about the way they fit together.

I'm a big believer that engagement sessions should fit exactly how you'd imagine spending a perfect day with your person. For these guys, it was clear we needed to do something reflective of their adventurous spirits- something that's such an integral part of the way they live their lives. We decided Angel's Landing in Zion National Park would be the perfect place to have both a fun day and get some amazing shots. They brought their backpack that's been around the world with them, and Drew wore bracelets they picked up throughout their travels. As we sat on top of the world (or so it felt like), I couldn't help but realize how lucky we are to have the opportunity to experience moments like this. I've found that the more fun we're having for an engagement session, the less stuffy the photos look and the more they FEEL like the couple. 

So here's to desert adventures, and twin flames who fit together so perfectly in this beautiful landscape.

If you're ever in Utah, Nevada, or Arizona, make sure to make the trip to Zion National Park. Angel's Landing is a must and there are several other cool hikes in the area. To avoid the crowds, plan your visit for the off-season. I did this same hike in February and we had the views all to ourselves. More information on the hike here:
