Claire + Ike packed up four of their closest people in a big white van, and road-tripped from Georgia out to one of the most remote corners of the Southwest.

We drove out to a place they'd never seen on their wedding morning, and soaked up every last second of the sun popping up. Each minute revealed another layer of the place they'd later that morning become life partners.

When Ike first saw Claire, sagebrush and red rock holding them close, her adorned in silk and a cape she sewed herself- he sweetly said, "You look like you," and I thought that was the most tender compliment he could have given her.

Isn't that what love is? Someone seeing you in your most pure form and saying yes, this life thing would be better with you by my side.
