Time & Space

Both visible in abundance in this corner of the world, millions of years of water bursting through this stone during flash floods have carved these walls. Space, first wild and open here, then it narrows and narrows until your shoulders scrape against the wall as you push through.

Everything here is magic, from the towering walls, to all these holes in the rock that are carved out by swirling pebbles that get caught in the water’s current. Sometimes you can still find the pebble responsible for the hole, sitting there inside, smooth and undisturbed for longer than there have been self aware animals on this planet.

And somehow, amidst all of this, the most magical thing is the way these two love each other, as they begin their own story of time and space, nestled in the cliffs of Utah’s canyon country.
